Let me tell you a story: Israel occupied the land of Canaan (present day Palestine) for thousands of years, from the time of Abraham but they were oppressed and ran away to different parts of the world. During this time, Arab Muslims (present day Palestinians, who were the ones who chased the Israelites away in the first place) took over the land. It’s similar to Fulanis chasing people away and taking over their land. In 1947, after the horrific experience of the 2nd world war, Israelites decided to go back to the land of Canaan, their fatherland, but the land was now occupied by Arab land grabbers who operate like Fulani herdsmen. Yes, there was a UN resolution to split the land between the Israelites and the Palestinians but the Israelites have refused and held onto the Gaza strip in opposition to the UN decree. Palestine’s claim to Jewish oppression is just the Jews resisting by saying “leave our land, this land is historically ours.” The Israelites have learned a bitter lesson that he that fights and runs away, will live to fight another day.
