Ifeoma Okoye Responds to Family Dispute Following Peter Okoye’s Allegations
Ifeoma Okoye, the wife of music executive Jude Okoye, addressed recent allegations from singer Peter Okoye, known as Mr P, on her official Instagram account. In her statement, posted Monday, Ifeoma expressed her decision not to engage in public discourse amid the ongoing family feud.
Her remarks coincided with the release of the latest episode of Peter’s video series, wherein he detailed his long-standing disagreement with his brother Jude over the management and ownership of properties associated with the former P-Square group. In this episode, Peter claimed that Jude attempted to transfer ownership rights of one property to Ifeoma, an action Peter contended he rejected upon discovering documents that included her name.
While Ifeoma did not specifically mention either Peter or Jude in her response, she acknowledged awareness of the allegations circulating about her. “I have no desire to defend myself before those who are committed to misunderstanding me,” she stated. “Truth does not need manipulation to prevail, and I trust God to vindicate what is right.”
She emphasized that her silence should not be misconstrued as fear, asserting her preference to leave the resolution of the matter to divine judgment rather than participate in public disputes.
Citing the biblical story of Ananias and Sapphira, Ifeoma remarked that deception is ultimately futile before God, whom she described as a righteous judge. She concluded her statement with a prayer for mercy, healing, and restoration, requesting that God soften hardened hearts and guide all involved toward truth and peace.
This statement comes as tensions continue to rise between Peter and Jude Okoye, following a series of allegations regarding the management of P-Square’s assets.
