Iheanacho completes move to Danish club FC Midtylland
FC Midtjylland Re-Signs Nigerian Striker Stanley Iheanacho
FC Midtjylland has announced the re-signing of Nigerian striker Stanley Iheanacho from Portuguese club CD Mafra. Iheanacho has signed a contract with the Danish Superliga club that extends until December 31, 2030.
The 21-year-old forward previously played for FC Midtjylland before transferring to CD Mafra two years ago. During his time with Mafra, he scored 17 goals in 65 appearances.
Iheanacho expressed enthusiasm about returning to the club, highlighting his familiarity with several teammates. “I already know many of the team, as several of those I played with in the U19 team and in Mafra are now playing in the first team. I look forward to being part of the club again, hopefully winning titles and playing in the Europa League,” he stated on the club’s official website.
