Peter Okoye Reveals His Greatest Fear During Interview

Peter Okoye, one half of the renowned music duo P-Square, shared insights into his life during a recent interview on the Nancy Isime show. In a candid moment, Okoye disclosed that his deepest fear is not death, but poverty.

“I have tested it before,” he stated, reflecting on his family’s past struggles. Okoye recounted a harrowing experience from his childhood when a bulldozer demolished his family’s home. “We were living in a one-bedroom flat with our parents, eight of us in total—six boys and two girls. We had to divide the room with a curtain.”

He explained how they had pleaded with the landlord for more time after he sold the compound, but their efforts were in vain. “The next thing, we were at home, and then a bulldozer came and demolished it. We have tasted poverty before,” he said.

Okoye’s memories serve as a reminder of the hardships he faced before achieving success in the music industry.
