‘I’m Not An Extension Of Anybody’ – Soludo’s Son Reacts After Being Dragged Over His Dad’s Statement On Peter Obi

Ozonna Soludo, the son of Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has reacted amidst the attack on him following his father’s statement to Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Naija News earlier reported that Soludo in an article he titled ‘History beckons and I will not be silent (Part 1)’, stated the reasons Obi cannot win the 2023 election.

The governor in the piece claimed he knows the game Peter Obi is playing.

The former CBN governor noted that even though he knows Obi won’t win, he still wished him well and even prays for him.

He said: “Let’s be clear: Peter Obi knows that he can’t and won’t win. He knows the game he is playing, and we know too, and he knows that we know.

“The game he is playing is the main reason he didn’t return to APGA. The brutal truth (and some will say, God, forbid) is that there are two persons/parties seriously contesting for president: the rest is exciting drama!

I Have My Own Opinion

Soludo’s statement sparked outrage online and many Nigerians attacked his son, Ozonna on Facebook.

Reacting, Ozonna said he would appreciate not being dragged into the statement of his father stressing he is not an extension of nobody.

According to him, he has his own opinion and has always said, he thinks Peter Obi is the best candidate.

He wrote: “I would appreciate not being dragged into this, I am not an extension of anybody I have my own opinion and have always said I think Peter is the best candidate, All this has nothing to do with me”
