Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, shared insights into his football preferences during a recent interview with ESPN.
In a departure from the mainstream debates surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, Burna Boy expressed a preference for former Nigerian international Jay Jay Okocha, calling him his favorite football player of all time.
When asked by the host about the greatest player in history, Burna Boy stated, “I will say Jay Jay Okocha. It is between him and Pele. I am not doing that Ronaldo or Messi stuff.”
The artist also highlighted Harry Kane as his favorite striker and identified Manchester United as his preferred club. Additionally, he named Lamine Yamal as the best young player in the world and Kobbie Mainoo as his favorite player from Manchester United.
