Nigerian actress Nkechi Blessing has responded to criticism following her recent defeat in a celebrity boxing match against Big Brother Naija star Phyna. The event, titled “Chaos in the Ring,” took place on October 1 at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, where Nkechi lost by technical knockout in the fourth round.

In a social media post, Nkechi addressed those labeling her as a “loser,” emphasizing her financial gain from participating in the bout. “To all of you calling me a loser, I’m over N50 million richer. Are you?” she wrote.

Despite the loss, Nkechi has maintained a positive outlook, referring to herself as “still a champion” and noting that she had only trained for two days before the fight.
