The initiative aims to remove terrorists and criminals from forests in the South-West region of Nigeria.

In a statement released on Monday, Igboho expressed his readiness to collaborate with various security agencies, including the police, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigerian Army, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). He emphasized the urgent need to tackle the threats posed by kidnappers and bandits, particularly in rural communities.

Igboho stated that all necessary documentation for the establishment of Iru Ekun Security Network has been submitted to the Federal Government. He also pledged to adhere to the recent Executive Order issued by the Oyo State Government, which governs the operations of private security organizations within the state.

Furthermore, he commended President Bola Tinubu for his commitment to enhancing Nigeria’s security infrastructure, particularly in the South-West region. Igboho remains hopeful that the approval for his organization will be granted soon, allowing them to actively engage in efforts to restore safety and peace for the people.
