Sharon Adeleke, a prominent businesswoman and sister of Nigerian singer Davido, has called on celebrities and public figures to embrace the practice of repeating outfits. In a recent vlog, Adeleke encouraged individuals in the public eye to resist societal pressures regarding clothing choices.

Adeleke shared that her own team often raises concerns when she chooses to wear previously donned garments, but she remains steadfast in her decision. “Last Sunday, I had an event and I didn’t have anything new made for it. So I decided to wear something I had worn before,” she explained. Despite objections from her team, she chose to wear the outfit again.

“Don’t let anybody tell you you can’t repeat your clothes. I will re-rock as many times as I like. I am not going to let anybody put unnecessary pressure on me,” she stated, emphasizing the importance of self-acceptance in fashion.

Adeleke concluded by encouraging others not to fear clothing repetition, underscoring her belief that individuals should feel free to wear their favorite pieces as often as they wish.
