Joe Rogan Torches Dylan Mulvaney After Bud Light Scandal – ‘Mentally Ill Person Who’s Just An Attention Wh*re’

Bud Light has lost over $27 billion since teaming up with the transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney for an ad campaign earlier this year. Now, the iconic comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan is speaking out to blast Mulvaney, going so far as to claim that the 26 year-old influencer is “mentally ill.”

Rogan Sounds Off

During a recent episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rogan sat down with guest Ice Cube to talk about the Bud Light scandal.

“Who controls Bud Light?” Ice Cube questioned. “That’s the question. Why would they make a dumb decision like that? Are they trying to ruin Bud Light? Why would they want to ruin Bud Light? Are they trying to take down some of our most iconic American brands?”

“I don’t think they had any idea this was going to happen,” Rogan replied. “This ESG (environmental, social, and governance) thing, that everybody has to dedicate a certain amount of time to woke stuff.”

“Who mandates that?” Ice Cube asked, with Rogan responding by saying that this was “a good question.”

Rogan then really went in when he brought up the Anheuser-Bush executive Alissa Heinerscheid, who is the person behind the Mulvaney partnership.

“The problem is also you get these people coming out of college, like this lady who made the decision for Bud Light,” Rogan said. “She’s gone through the university system, she’s in the corporate system, and she’s a woman. And she thinks, ‘we have to be more inclusive.’ And that’s all the language everyone’s using today. So they don’t know any real people. They don’t know regular people.”

Rogan Bashes Mulvaney

That’s when Rogan shifted to attacking both Heinerscheid and Mulvaney.

“They have no idea if you take a brand like Bud Light, which is known for blue-collar drinking people — they like to f***in’ watch football and drink Bud Light,” he continued. “And then all of a sudden, you have this mentally ill person who’s just an attention wh*re. And you make a big deal out of putting this person … on a Bud Light can, and they freak the f*** out.”

Rogan previously claimed that Mulvaney is an “attention wh*re” during an episode of his podcast that aired back in April.

“There’s like interviews with the lady who is the head of Bud Light talking about why they did it and about the old sort of frat culture attached to Bud Light dismissing the people, like the humor of the people that like Bud Light,” he said at the time.

“And so they’re gonna change that with this crazy attention wh*re on day 365 of being a woman,” Rogan added, referring to Mulvaney. “It’s so stupid and cliche. It f***ing — it hurts my feelings. It’s so dumb. This is a company in deep s***, bro.”

Mulvaney Turns On Bud Light

As for Mulvaney, she’s turned her back on Bud Light as well, claiming that the brand has done nothing to support her since the scandal broke.

“I was waiting for the brand to reach out to me, but they never did. I’ve been scared to leave my house,” Mulvaney said in a video posted to social media last month. “For a company to hire a trans person and then not publicly stand by them is worse than not hiring a trans person at all.”

“Because it gives customers permission to be as transphobic and as hateful as they want. There’s should be nothing controversial or divisive about working with us,” the transgender influencer continued. “I have been ridiculed in public I’ve been followed and I have felt a loneliness that I wouldn’t wish on anyone.”

Regardless of whether one agrees with Rogan’s assessment of Mulvaney or not, it can’t be denied that Bud Light made a huge mistake in ever teaming up with her. In the end, Bud Light has learned the hard way that “go woke, go broke” is very real indeed.
