I mean, it’s very uninteresting to look at but gives my hair the most lovely softness and the holy grail at the moment – shine! One of the key ingredients is hemisqualane, a sugarcane derivative that acts like a lot like silicone but without the oiliness that silicone can sometimes bring. You really don’t need a lot – a quick mist over damp hair is all you need so the smaller can at £10 is a good try-me price.
JVN Complete Conditioning Mist immediately detangled, meaning that I don’t have to do any rougher strokes with my brush so I can minimize brushing, and I could feel how softening it is as I dried though. I need to use a brush to style as I dry but was able to use it very lightly. The finish was great – shiny, separated strands that had a bit of bounce and health to them. I don’t really know whether it’s just the hemisqualane at play here or the extracts of hyaluronic, mushroom and black spruce but then, I don’t really care. This is allowing me to condition without rinsing to positive effect and that will do for me! 60ml is £10 HERE.
