K1 De Ultimate Completes Rites For Chieftaincy After 7-Day Seclusion (Video)

Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate has completed the seven-day seclusion rites as the Olori Omo Oba Akile of Ijebu-Ode.

The 66-year-old completed the rites on Sunday at his Ojushagbola family house in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

Videos of the fuji legend leaving seclusion from his family house with his wife Emmanuela nee Aderopo have surfaced on soocial media.

K1 also posted pictures on Instagram after completing the seclusion rites. His wife is seen with him in the photos.

“Coronation Day 7 in picture,” he captioned a post on Instagram. The Fuji veteran captioned another: “Royalty.”

His younger colleagues Saheed Osupa and KS1 Malaika were also seen prostrating before K1.

KS1 wrote about his visit on Instagram, “I was in ijebuode on Monday, Sept 18, to formally visit the Olori omo oba akile ijebu and Otunba Fidipote, my father, Wasiu Ayinde Omogbolahan Adesanya Anifowoshe Marshal at his ancestral home in the heart of Ijebuode. It was the opening day of the week long festivities for the installation ceremony, and I equally donated my talent to thrill friends, visitors, and well wishers who came that day.”

K1 was handed the Olori Omo Oba Akile title by the Awujale of Ijebuland Oba Sikiru Adetona at the Ojude Oba Festival held on June 30, 2023.

This year, the theme of the festival was Ojude Oba: A Lesson in Religious Harmony, and as usual, it involved different activities, performances and cultural displays.

He will be installed on Tuesday, September 26.
