ADC Names Candidate for Dandi House of Assembly Seat Ahead of 2027 Elections
DANDI, Kebbi State – The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has concluded its House of Assembly primary election in the Dandi Local Government Area, officially endorsing Hon. Dr. Isiaka Adamu Guaru as its candidate for the Dandi State Constituency seat in the upcoming 2027 elections.
The primary election was conducted in accordance with the ADC’s constitution and democratic standards, which the party characterized as peaceful and transparent.
Officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the Nigeria Police Force, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and the Department of State Services (DSS) monitored the electoral process to ensure compliance with regulations.
In a statement released on Friday by the ADC Dandi LGA Media Team, the party expressed gratitude to delegates, stakeholders, supporters, and aspirants for their cooperation and orderly behavior during the election.
Mainasara Suleiman Kamba, the party’s leader in Dandi LGA, stated that the successful execution of the primary illustrates the ADC’s dedication to internal democracy, accountability, and inclusive governance.
The statement also congratulated Guaru on his selection as the party’s flagbearer, urging him to uphold the ideals and vision of the ADC.
Furthermore, the party reaffirmed its commitment to issue-based politics and policies that aim to foster development and progress within the Dandi Local Government Area.
