Kwara Police Chief Pledges Action Following Deadly Attack on Mobile Force Camp
Kwara State Police Commissioner Ojo Adekimi announced plans to intensify operational, intelligence, and tactical efforts to apprehend those responsible for the recent attack on a police mobile force camp in Tenebo, Kaiama.
The assault, which occurred on Saturday, resulted in the deaths of three police officers and left several others injured.
In response to the tragedy, Adekimi condemned the attack as a “heinous and cowardly act” and expressed deep sorrow for the loss of life. “The fallen officers paid the ultimate price in the line of duty, bravely standing to defend the safety and security of our communities,” he stated. “Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.”
The police command extended its condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of the deceased officers and expressed hopes for the swift recovery of those injured, who are currently receiving medical treatment.
“The command stands firmly with the bereaved families and assures them of our unwavering support during this difficult time,” Adekimi added.
