Lady recounts how a Nigerian man on pilgrimage to Isreal absconded hours after condemning two others for doing same

‘’I went to Israel for pilgrimage years ago. After visiting one of the tourist attractions, we came back to the bus and our tour guide announced that two pilgrims from our batch had absconded.

One man on our bus was the loudest about his condemnation. He didn’t stop talking about it until we reached our hotel.

He kept saying “What exactly is in this country that would make someone abscond? This place that Nigeria is better than?!”

Of course, people were agreeing with him.

The next day, when it was time to leave for another historical place, one person was missing from our bus.

It was the same man.

He too had absconded.”
