LaLiga: Mourinho flies to Spain to sign Real Madrid contract

Jose Mourinho Set to Return to Real Madrid
Jose Mourinho has traveled to Spain to finalize his return to Real Madrid as head coach. The 63-year-old manager reportedly reached a verbal agreement with club president Florentino Perez prior to the presidential election held last weekend.
Following Perez’s victory over challenger Enrique Riquelme, Mourinho’s return to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium appears imminent, marking his first tenure with the club in 13 years.
Mourinho is expected to sign a three-year contract and will be formally introduced to the media shortly thereafter. Notably, football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on X, “José Mourinho, in Madrid today ahead of his presentation as new Real Madrid head coach on a three-year deal.”
Ahead of Mourinho’s arrival, Real Madrid has already secured two defensive players, Ibrahima Konaté from Liverpool and Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan, bolstering their squad.
