Real Madrid Manager Jose Mourinho Approves Signings of Konate and Dumfries
Incoming Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has authorized the club to pursue two key signings as it prepares for the upcoming season.
The La Liga club has reached an agreement to sign defender Ibrahima Konate, who recently left Liverpool as a free agent. Additionally, Real Madrid will activate the €20 million release clause for Denzel Dumfries at Inter Milan.
In addition to these signings, sources indicate that Mourinho is considering another defensive acquisition as he prepares to take the helm this summer.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stated on X, “José Mourinho has approved both Konaté and Dumfries deals for Real Madrid. The Special One appreciates both, and Real Madrid could try one more defensive signing if the right opportunity appears on the market.”
This move comes in response to Real Madrid’s need for reinforcement in defense following the departures of notable players David Alaba and captain Dani Carvajal.
