Queen Dami Accuses Nigerian Singer Portable of Cyberbullying and Threats

The estranged wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyeye, Queen Dami, has filed a petition against Nigerian singer Portable, alleging cyberbullying, blackmail, and threats to her life.

This petition follows Portable’s recent claims that he and Dami remain romantically involved. According to Portable, the couple had reconciled their differences but that Dami continues to publicly deny their relationship.

In response, Dami took to Instagram to clarify her position, stating she is not engaged in any romantic or sexual relationship with Portable. She labeled his claims as unfounded.

“For the record, I want to address something clearly and publicly. Portable is my ex, and we are not in a relationship. Any claims that we are dating or that I visit him for sex are completely false,” she wrote in her post.

Dami expressed her discontent over the dissemination of false and sexualized narratives about her, describing such behavior as disrespectful and harmful. She called on Portable to cease spreading these allegations and urged the public to refrain from sharing them, noting that legal actions have been initiated.

“Thank you to everyone who continues to respect me and support my truth. Once again, Portable has been written out of my life for a long time,” she added.
