LIVE: Cats star’s return in doubt after limping off

The practice match between the Blues and the Cats has kicked off at Ikon Park. This will comprise of 20 minute quarter with the clock only stopped after a goal is scored.

In the opening minute, Cam Guthrie limped off the field and headed straight to the rooms with assistance from a trainer with a suspected upper leg injury.

Guthrie had his 2023 campaign hampered by a foot injury.

The 31-year-old came crashing to the ground after attempting to kick following the first centre bounce of the game. He abruptly pulled up, appearing to grab his upper right leg.
