Sonny-Bill Williams reckons it’s the Bulldogs who look as though they’re on the four-game winning streak and not the Knights.

Speaking on Nine’s coverage at half time, Williams said the Bulldogs are doing the simple things right.

“On nights like this, it’s the team that keeps it simple, works hard, kicks for the corners, doesn’t do the flash staff, concentrates on the one per centers – the Dogs have done that,” he said.

“That’s what their season has been built on – their DNA this year is their work ethic.”

Allana Ferguson tipped pre-game for Addo-Carr to have a big one having been overlooked for Origin, and it’s a sentiment Williams agrees with.

“And in these types of ugly games, when you look at it, it’s the players who know how to play ugly and play well who come out on top,” he explained.

“That’s what the Foxx has done. It looks like the Bulldogs are on a four-game winning streak, not Newcastle.”
