Man cries out for justice after his mom was assaulted by their male neighbor in Ikorodu, Lagos

A Nigerian man has cried out for justice after his mum was allegedly assaulted by a male neighbour. 

In a post shared on X, the man with the handle @oyin_sperere said he returned home to find his mum with a swollen face. He said that it was a male neighbour that distorted her face. He said he reported the matter to the Ijede police station in Ikorodu but he wasn’t satisfied by the response of the police as they allegedly asked for money.

The Lagos police command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, reacted to his tweet asking him to reach out to the Divisional Police Officer ofthe station where the matter was reported.
