Mocking Apostle Arome is unacceptable – Pastor Femi Lazarus warns VeryDarkMan
Pastor Femi Lazarus, founder of the Light Nation Church, has issued a warning to social media personality VeryDarkMan regarding his recent mockery of Apostle Arome Osayi.
Apostle Osayi, founder of the Remnant Christian Network, made headlines during a recent sermon when he asserted that Nigeria’s national purpose lies in becoming a source of global spiritual revival and missionary manpower, rather than in manufacturing or technological advancements.
In response, VeryDarkMan posted an Instagram video in which he ridiculed Apostle Osayi by imitating his facial expressions associated with palsy.
Pastor Lazarus took to Instagram to condemn VeryDarkMan’s actions, describing the mockery as unacceptable. He emphasized the importance of supporting fellow members of the Christian community, stating, “We will not always agree. Preachers won’t always be right. Context matters, and we must learn to extend grace always. Apostle Arome is ours—a gift to the body.”
Lazarus further lamented the tendency for division within the community, urging that disagreements should be handled with respect and honor. “That attack on him and mockery is unacceptable,” he added.
