Nollywood Actress Eniola Badmus Challenges Funke Akindele to Celebrity Boxing Match
Nigerian actress Eniola Badmus has publicly invited fellow Nollywood star Funke Akindele to participate in a celebrity boxing match. This challenge follows a recent event in which streamer Carter Efe secured a victory against Portable in a match that attracted considerable attention.
Carter Efe won the boxing match on Friday, receiving a prize of 50 million naira. In celebration of his triumph, Lagos-based socialite E-Money presented him with an additional 50,000 naira as a gift. Prior to the event, talent manager and music executive Soso Soberekon contributed 40 million naira to both Carter Efe and Portable.
In a now-viral post on Instagram, Badmus emphasized her intention to fight Akindele, calling for sponsorship from E-Money and Soberekon. She wrote, “Funke Akindele, let’s get on the boxing ring. It’s about time. Soso, E-Money, let’s get to it. No time. Money has to be made.”
