‘Mosun Filani rude, Fathia Balogun was her godmother’ – Actor Baraka [VIDEO]

Actor Oluwole Cole Accuses Colleague of Rudeness

Nollywood actor Oluwole Cole, known professionally as Baraka, has accused actress Mosunmola Filani of being rude and arrogant.

In an interview with the African A-List podcast, Baraka recounted his experience with Filani during a film shoot. He specifically criticized her treatment of senior colleagues, including actors Kunle Afod and the late Murphy Afolabi.

Baraka described an incident that occurred while they were working near the Larry King Hotel. He claimed that after Filani insulted Afod and Afolabi, tensions escalated. “Murphy and Afod went to the hotel, and it seems one of them spoke to Mosun and she reacted with insult,” he said.

Later that evening, when the crew gathered to shoot a scene, Baraka confronted Filani. He recounted that he was urged by Mr. Latin and others to allow them to address her behavior, as he is known for taking a firm stance against disrespect.

“Our crew insisted that the filming would not proceed unless Mosun was removed from the set,” Baraka stated. He noted that Filani was being supported by actress Fathia Balogun, whom he acknowledged with respect for her seniority but insisted did not deter them from addressing Filani’s conduct.

Baraka concluded, “I made it clear that we are not afraid of Fathia, but we respect her because of her age.”

This incident highlights ongoing discussions about professionalism and conduct within the Nigerian film industry.
