Mr P alleges Jude Okoye threatened him over US property dispute

Singer Peter Okoye Accuses Brother Jude of Threatening Behavior Over Property Dispute
Peter Okoye, known professionally as Mr P, has publicly accused his elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, of threatening him during a property dispute linked to their former music group, P-Square.
In the fifth episode of his video series detailing the deterioration of their relationship, Mr P recounted an incident from early 2015. He stated that the conflict arose after learning his share of a duplex in the United States had been put up for sale without his consent.
“I started to connect the dots after being informed by the EFCC. Why the sudden attack?” Mr P said, referencing the sudden hostility he experienced.
The singer recalled a confrontation at a music event where tensions escalated. “He told me to get out of his front before he slapped me. He wanted to beat me up before other artistes stepped in,” Mr P alleged.
Furthermore, Mr P denied claims that Jude had financially backed P-Square, asserting that their elder brother, Henry, was the primary supporter during the group’s formative years. He also alleged that he discovered documents intended to transfer his ownership interest in the US property to Jude’s wife, Ifeoma Omokeke. Mr P refused to sign the documents upon noticing the proposed change in ownership.
Additionally, he claimed that Jude asserted he held majority control over the group’s assets and threatened to eliminate him from the business.
This ongoing dispute underscores the strained dynamics between the brothers that have captured public attention.
