My ex-label trying to destroy me after suing me for $1m – Qing Madi

Nigerian Singer Accuses Former Label of Sabotage
Nigerian artist Qing Madi has publicly accused her former record label, JTon Music, of attempting to undermine her career. The 19-year-old made the allegations following the removal of her new song, “Pepper Me,” featuring Zinoleesky, from the streaming service Spotify.
Qing Madi stated that her disputes with the label escalated after they filed a lawsuit against her for $1 million, a case they ultimately lost. She expressed concerns that JTon Music, the same label linked to the earlier issues faced by fellow artist Cynthia Morgan, is now targeting her.
“I find it disheartening that the same people who tried to destroy Cynthia Morgan are now trying to do the same to me,” she wrote on Instagram. “It’s painful for you that I didn’t give up, even after you sued me and lost your case.”
In response to the situation, Qing Madi has pledged to do everything in her power to have her song reinstated on Spotify. As of now, JTon Music has not issued a statement regarding the allegations.
