Nigerian Singer Kehinde Adegbodu Hospitalized Following Fire Incident

IBADAN, Nigeria — Nigerian singer Kehinde Adegbodu, known for his work as part of the Adegbodu Twins, recently sustained injuries from a fire accident at his family home in Ibadan, Oyo State.

In a video posted Wednesday evening on the Adegbodu Twins fan page, Adegbodu addressed public concerns regarding the injuries on his hand and face. He dismissed rumors of spiritual attacks, clarifying that his condition resulted from the fire incident.

“I’m making this video to address the incident that happened about a week ago to clarify that I’m medically okay,” he said. “There’s nothing wrong with me; I’m very okay. But I had a fire accident at home.”

Adegbodu explained that he had not initially publicized the incident, noting, “I didn’t post it online because it’s not a thing of celebration.” He urged his fans for prayers, stating, “All I need from you is prayer. May God help me to overcome every seen and unseen spiritual battle.”

He described his injuries, stating that while they were healing, they affected his left hand, lips, and face. “Although it’s not that terrible, it was rumoured that I was attacked spiritually; please know that I’m not battling any form of spiritual attack. It is just a fire accident,” he said.
