NAF intensifies strikes on terrorist hideouts in Borno ahead of Sallah

Nigerian Air Force Targets Terrorist Hideouts Ahead of Sallah Celebration

BIRAMIRI, Borno State — The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) conducted precision strikes on identified terrorist hideouts and support structures in the Biramiri area of Borno State on Tuesday, in preparation for the upcoming Sallah celebration.

The coordinated attacks resulted in the destruction of key facilities used by terrorists and neutralized several fighters, significantly impacting the operational capabilities of the insurgents.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information for the NAF, confirmed the operations in a statement. He noted that the intensity and precision of the air offensives have instilled fear and confusion among terrorist groups in the Sambisa Forest area.

Intelligence assessments indicated a marked sense of apprehension and disorientation among the insurgents, who are struggling to maintain mobility and secure safe havens due to sustained bombardments.

The NAF, in conjunction with troops from Operation HADIN KAI and other security agencies, aims to maintain pressure on terrorist networks while reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding civilian lives and restoring peace in the North-East region.
