[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] All those gorgeous cashmere neutrals are so tempting as we head into colder weather but there’s going to be a day where all you want is some colour and if you’re overstocked on beiges and blacks, nails are a great way to bring that flash of brightness.

The Nails Inc We Love Pink collection takes in fuchsia, baby pink, vampy pink and just in case that’s not enough for you, a pot full of assorted shade (including pink obvs) hearts that you will need all of your patience to apply but it’s (I think) worth the bother. You will probably need a cocktail stick to get enough hearts onto your nail and into the right place – they don’t come out all nice and even on the brush.

It’s not just beauty brands that are taking us into the pink – I saw someone trying this oversize red and pink stripe sweater on in Mango at the weekend and she looked amazing in it! I’m so tempted but I have a pink sweater on the way from the US and if I hate it, this is going straight in my bag. I might anyway – it’s just the most lovely rush of colour that lights up your drizzly autumn walk in wellies. If you prefer a check to a stripe, there’s also a pink option for those and its reminiscent of two season’s ago Stine Goya, one of my favourite brands. It’s £35.99 HERE and something I can see myself shoving on over trackies or pjs for a snuggle down on the sofa and a good Sunday film. Both sweaters are recycled synthetics and in my experience so much easier to look after than wool or cashmere. I very rarely buy wool these days – it’s either synthetic or cashmere (which I treat like Ming vases).
