Naira gains N5.54 at official market
Naira Appreciates Against Dollar in Official Market
The Naira strengthened against the U.S. dollar on Monday, trading at 1,360.14 naira per dollar in the official market.
Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) indicated that the currency gained 5.54 naira, marking a 0.4 percent increase from Friday’s closing rate of 1,365.68 naira per dollar.
This uptick follows a period of four consecutive days of depreciation experienced the previous week.
