Nations League: My conscience is clear – Jorge Jesus breaks silence on Ronaldo’s exit

Portugal Coach Claims ‘Clear Conscience’ Amid Ronaldo Fallout
Portugal’s head coach, Jorge Jesus, has stated that he maintains a “clear conscience” following tensions with national team captain Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo departed from the team’s training camp on Wednesday, just ahead of an upcoming UEFA Nations League match against Denmark. His exit came after a disagreement with Jesus, who had chosen to leave the 41-year-old as an unused substitute during a recent match against Norway.
The captain expressed his dissatisfaction with Jesus’s remarks during a press conference, prompting his decision to leave the camp. Following his departure, Ronaldo released a statement indicating his intention to disclose the “truth” regarding the reasons for his exit.
“I am completely relaxed, with a clear conscience regarding this situation,” Jesus said in an interview with Sport TV. He also noted that discussions regarding the incident would take place after their match on Sunday.
