The euphoria that followed Hilda’s feat was such that even President Buhari and President-elect Tinubu were sucked into the ‘madness’ of congratulating her, as if the record had already been confirmed by Guinness World Record. Kanayo O Kanayo even dared anyone who tried to go after the record, as if Hilda too hadn’t gone after the record that was originally held by another person, an Indian. However, I would have loved Dammy to have waited for the confirmation of Hilda’s record before embarking on her own quest.
