Nigerian woman announces death of her 13-year-old son two days after he went missing in Jos

A 13-year-old boy, Longji Le’an, has been found dead few days after he was declared missing in Jos, Plateau State.

The mother of the deceased, Ruth Le’an, had taken to Facebook to report that her son went missing after leaving home at about 6pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. 

She confirmed the death of her son in another Facebook post on February 9, but didn’t give further details on the circumstances surrounding his demise.

The boy will be laid to rest in Jos, on Tuesday morning, February 14, 2023.  May his soul rest in peace.
