Nigerians lament the rising cost of drugs

As Nigerians continue to grapple with the rising exchange rate in the country, some Nigerians have taken to social media to lament the rising cost of drugs. An X user @CaptainArinze mentioned that a drug one of his brother uses on a daily basis has jumped from N7500 to N22, 000.

Another X user mentioned that a popular antibiotics brand that sold for N4800 is now N22, 000. A Nigerian man in the comment section mentioned that he has seen mothers break down in tears when they arrive a pediatric hospital and are told the amount of a drug for their child.
