Nollywood actor, Ogogo diagnosed with cancer, children solicit help [VIDEO]

Taiwo Hassan, a veteran Nigerian actor known as Ogogo, has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

In a video posted on Instagram Monday night, Ogogo’s daughter, Shaki Taiwo, called for medical assistance for her father. She indicated that the hospital had ceased his treatment due to the severity of his condition and emphasized her father’s desire to continue living.

“Hello, everyone. I’m here for my daddy. He has cancer and it is at stage 4. The hospital is saying that they cannot treat him again and that they can’t give him chemo again,” she said in the video.

Shaki expressed gratitude to Senator Yayi, who has been covering her father’s medical bills, but urged others to help find treatment options. “What I’m here for is that if you can treat my daddy medically or traditionally, please, I’m begging in the name of God, help us,” she added.

“My daddy doesn’t want to die. Please, I don’t want my daddy to die. He’s in pain. He’s not happy. Please, guys, I’m begging you, if you know anybody that can treat cancer,” Shaki implored.

In a separate Instagram post, Ogogo’s second daughter, Haleemah, revealed that the family was unaware of their father’s diagnosis until three weeks ago.
