Nollywood Actress Maureen Okpoko Seeks Support for Vision Impairment
Nollywood actress Maureen Okpoko has revealed that she has been living with vision impairment for the past four years. In a recent video, the actress made an emotional appeal for assistance from the public, including bloggers, colleagues, and friends.
Okpoko is seeking financial support for further medical treatment. She also asked for prayers and encouragement from her supporters. “I have been visually challenged for four years. Please, I am seeking your financial assistance for further medical intervention,” she stated, specifically mentioning popular figures such as Tunde Ednut and VDM in her plea.
Her appeal follows a call for support from veteran Nigerian actor and musician Harry B. Anyanwu. In another video, Anyanwu urged both the film industry and the public to rally around Okpoko, emphasizing the urgency of her situation. He described her as a dear colleague and expressed hope that she can regain her sight with the necessary help.
