I’m surprised that no one is asking who the father of her children is, which is a clear indication that people no longer consider illegitimate pregnancy as a big deal. In today’s world, it is okay for a woman to just go out there, fuck a random man and get pregnant for him. Instead of seeing the moral decadence that such an action is laced with, people rather worry about how she dresses during the pregnancy and all that.
Many of us who are of age were raised by our both parents, and we can swear that we had beautiful upbringing and parenting. But let us spear some thoughts for those children who would just wake up to the reality of not knowing who their male parents are. It’s a really sorry situation.
For girls who want to toe Uche’s path, remember that there will always be consequences for bringing illegitimate children into the world. I will never be a happy adult knowing that my mum slept with a man just to have me, without following the due processes that ought to precede child-bearing.
