Nollywood full of saboteurs – Jim Iyke

Nollywood Veteran Jim Iyke Highlights Internal Sabotage in Film Industry
Nigerian actor Jim Iyke has identified internal sabotage as a significant obstacle facing the Nollywood film industry.
In a recent interview with the BBC, Iyke expressed his concerns about the presence of saboteurs within the sector. He stated that if he could implement one change in Nollywood, it would be to eliminate such detrimental influences. “The industry is full of saboteurs,” he remarked. “They can’t help themselves. They need therapy.”
Iyke also reflected on his proudest moment as an actor, revealing that he became emotional after his son praised his performance by calling him a “genius.” He noted that the commendation prompted him to retreat to the bathroom, where he shed tears of joy.
Furthermore, Iyke named actress Kate Henshaw as his favorite collaborator in the industry, highlighting his appreciation for their professional relationship.
