NPFL: Abdullahi shops for new club after Katsina United exit
Zalli Abdullahi Parts Ways with Katsina United
Zalli Abdullahi has mutually terminated his contract with Katsina United, the club announced on Wednesday.
The goalkeeper concludes his stint with the Chanji Boys following a noteworthy performance in the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, during which he made 29 appearances.
As Abdullahi moves on, several clubs, including Rangers, Rivers United, and Kano Pillars, are reportedly interested in acquiring his services for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
In response to Abdullahi’s departure, Katsina United has identified Alladoum Kolimba, a goalkeeper from the Central African Republic, as a potential replacement. Kolimba previously played for Remo Stars in the last NPFL season.
