Kano Pillars Appoint Daniel Ogunmodede as Technical Adviser
Kano Pillars FC has named Daniel Ogunmodede as its new technical adviser for the upcoming 2026/2027 football season. The announcement was made via a brief statement on the club’s X account on Friday.
Ogunmodede, known as Ijaball, has signed a two-year contract with the four-time Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions. The club expressed enthusiasm for his arrival, welcoming him to the Kano community and the Sai Masu Gida family.
At 46 years old, Ogunmodede brings a wealth of experience to the position. He previously led Remo Stars to their first NPFL title during the 2024/25 season. Ogunmodede departed his role with Remo Stars at the conclusion of last season and also serves as an assistant to Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle.
