Remo Stars Owner Awards Car to Top Scorer Victor Mbaoma
Ikenne, Nigeria — Kunle Soname, the owner of Remo Stars, presented a new car to forward Victor Mbaoma as recognition for his outstanding performance in the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Mbaoma concluded the season with 14 goals, ranking him among the league’s top scorers. The presentation ceremony took place on Tuesday at the club’s facility in Ikenne.
In a statement, Mbaoma expressed his gratitude for the unexpected gift. “I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible surprise gift of a brand new car,” he stated.
He praised Soname’s leadership and commitment. “This thoughtful gesture speaks volumes about your exceptional leadership and the value you place on your word. Thank you for keeping your word, believing in me, and investing in my well-being.”
Mbaoma also acknowledged the support he received from his family, coaches, teammates, Remo Stars officials, and friends. “I couldn’t have reached this point without your constant encouragement, prayers, and words of advice,” he said. “You all cheered me on during the tough days and celebrated my victories as if they were your own.”
This season was particularly challenging for Remo Stars, who were relegated to the Nigeria National League (NNL) last year.
