NYSC Orientation Dates Announced for Enugu and Osun
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the orientation program for prospective corps members deployed to Enugu and Osun will take place from April 28 to May 18, 2026. This schedule marks a delay of one week compared to the orientation for the other 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
In a statement issued by Caroline Embu, the Director of Information and Public Relations, NYSC officials explained that the change is necessitated by ongoing renovations at the camp facilities in the affected states.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the Orientation Exercise for all other states and the FCT is scheduled for April 22 to May 12, 2026,” the statement read.
The NYSC urged all prospective corps members to take note of these revised dates and to ensure their compliance. The organization also extended wishes for safe travels as the corps members prepare to reach their respective states of deployment.
