Officer Woos Denies Rumors of Broda Shaggy’s Death
Nigerian content creator Officer Woos has refuted claims that he announced the death of his colleague, Broda Shaggy, on social media.
Recently, a post by a user on X, formerly Twitter, identified as @Ghost91on, suggested that Officer Woos had declared Broda Shaggy’s passing on his Instagram account. The post included a picture of Broda Shaggy, stating, “Officer Woos just announced the passed away of his brother Broda Shaggy via his IG page. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”
In response, Officer Woos shared a screenshot of the post on his Instagram story, labeling it as “false.”
Further addressing the issue, Versed Attorneys, the legal representatives for Officer Woos, issued a statement denying the rumors. They stated, “We represent Mr. Jubril Oladapo Gbadamosi, known as Officer Woos, and write this in response to false and malicious publications circulating on social media, particularly X. It has come to our client’s attention that certain unverified and anonymous social media accounts have alleged that he publicly announced the death of a close colleague. Our client has never made such an announcement.”
The statement also indicated that Officer Woos is considering legal action against those responsible for disseminating the false information.
This speculation about Broda Shaggy’s death follows an incident in March 2023, when he was shot while filming at Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun state. Since that time, he has not publicly commented on the matter.
