Ogun APC announces winners of House of Reps primaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has announced the results of its House of Representatives primary elections held on Saturday.
Philip Shaibu, chairman of the Ogun State APC National Assembly Primary Elections Committee, presented the outcomes at the party’s secretariat in Abeokuta, following reports from collation officers throughout the federal constituencies.
Funmi Efuwape was selected as the party’s candidate for the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency. Olumide Osoba secured the nomination for the Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency.
In the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Moruf Afuape emerged as the primary winner, while Toyin Taiwo claimed victory in the Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency.
The committee also announced Olanrewaju Bashorun as the winner for the Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency and Adijat Adeleye as the party’s candidate for the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency.
In the other constituencies, Joseph Adegbesan was declared the winner for Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, and Razaq Dadah won the ticket for Ijebu-Ode/Odogbolu/Ijebu North East Federal Constituency. Gboyega Isiaka was identified as the winner for the Imeko Afon/Yewa North Federal Constituency.
The APC stated that the results reflect the successful execution of the primaries across the affected constituencies in Ogun State.
