Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, also known as David Adeleke, on Wednesday revealed why he is supporting his uncle, Ademola Adeleke’s governorship ambition.
The DMW boss noted that he is supporting the former lawmaker because he (Davido) is fighting for his state and his blood.
Davido stated this while responding to a Twitter user who condemned Senator Adeleke for contesting in the Osun governorship election.
The tweep had called out Adeleke in a post where Davido lamented about the state of things in the country.
Davido had written on Wednesday, “Naija don cast fully.”
The user identified as lexxy4real said, “Same Naija wey your uncle dey contest election? Why can’t he contest as the governor of Atlanta since he is a citizen there? Why Naija wey don cast?”
Davido in his response wrote, “Bro, I’m giving out money on Friday. Join in and win something instead of fighting for people who don’t give a f*ck about you!
“I’m fighting for my state and my blood! You’re fighting for someone who doesn’t care about you and will probably even regard me before you.”
This is coming shortly after the singer announced he would be donating N20m to 20 business owners.
