Hajiya Asia El-Rufai Raises Concerns Over Alleged Surveillance
Hajiya Asia El-Rufai, the second wife of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has reported that she and her co-wife, Aishatou El-Rufai, are under surveillance.
In a post on her Facebook account, Asia El-Rufai stated that their personal communication lines have been compromised, raising fears for their safety.
“They are following me and Aishatou. Let the world know that if anything happens to us, the government should explain. Our phones are bugged… our lives are in danger,” she wrote.
This announcement follows growing concerns surrounding the continued detention of Nasir El-Rufai.
