Oyo State Government Suspends Crown FC Technical Crew and Management
The Oyo State Government has suspended the entire technical crew and management of Crown FC, a decision made in response to the team’s unsatisfactory performance in the Nigeria National League (NNL) last season.
The state’s Ministry of Youth and Sports announced the suspension earlier today, stating it takes immediate effect. Further updates regarding the club’s future and subsequent actions will be provided in due course.
Crown FC, known as the Ajilete Warriors, faced significant challenges throughout the season, managing to secure their NNL status on the final day. The team concluded the season in seventh place in Conference B, accumulating 16 points from 16 matches.
