Parramatta’s night worsens with star’s injury

Alofiana Khan-Pereira has his fifth double in his debut season after a brilliant intercept try.

The Eels had all the momentum in the second half but the Titans winger has changed the game.

Khan-Pereira scored 25 tries in 19 games last season in the Hostplus Cup and has brought that form to the NRL.

Queensland great Corey Parker was full of praise for the winger, who previously coached in the under 18s Qld system.

“Speed has never been an issue on for Khan-Pereira on the left hand side,” he said on Fox League.

“He’s come through the state league system, he’s bided his time and boy oh boy hasn’t he made a bang on the scene.

“He’s electric, he’s got speed.”

Tanah Boyd converts the try to make it 22-8.
