Pastor Chris Okafor’s Daughter to Press Charges Over Alleged Assault
Amara Okafor, the second daughter of Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, plans to file assault charges against her father. This development follows a high-profile dispute involving the pastor and actress Doris Ogala.
In December, Ogala publicly accused Okafor of failing to fulfill marital promises made during their eight-year relationship. She also claimed that he engaged in inappropriate conduct with married members of his congregation. As a result of her allegations, Pastor Okafor initiated legal action against Ogala.
After her release from police detention, Ogala declined an alleged $10,000 settlement offer from Okafor. Subsequently, she announced on social media that Amara is now prepared to take legal action against their father for an alleged physical assault. Ogala shared videos purportedly depicting Amara’s injuries, alleging she was stabbed multiple times after confronting Okafor about his relationships with married church members.
Doris Ogala, who claims to have a close rapport with Amara, accused Okafor of physically assaulting her daughter, allegedly stripping her naked during the incident. “How can a father do this to his own daughter?” Ogala wrote alongside the videos. “This was an attempted murder situation, just because she caught you sleeping with a married church member.”
Amara’s decision to press charges adds a new layer to the ongoing controversy surrounding Pastor Okafor, who continues to face scrutiny from the public and media.
