Petrol tanker explodes in Delta [VIDEO]

Panic ensued in Agbor, the headquarters of Ika South Local Government Area in Delta State, on Sunday when a petrol tanker experienced brake failure, collided with another tanker, and erupted in flames, resulting in significant property damage.

The accident occurred along the Old Lagos-Asaba Road, near Festy Pharmacy and opposite Orogodo Primary School, Agbor. Eyewitnesses reported that the fuel-laden tanker lost control, careening into another tanker on the heavily trafficked roadway.

The collision sparked a fire that consumed the tanker and spread to nearby structures, including vehicles parked along the roadside.

The incident caused extensive damage and left residents, motorists, and local business owners in a state of shock and concern. Authorities are expected to investigate the cause of the brake failure and assess the full extent of the damages.
